Located on the vibrant Jervois Road in suburban Herne Bay Auckland, Andiamo has established a reputation for fine food, sourcing the best available seasonal produce which is prepared and cooked in a modern bistro style highlighting the natural flavours.
The Menu is based on reliable favourites and generational dishes. Pure and simple flavours and authentic recipes are prepared with honesty and stand the test of time. The Menu comes to life with a selection of meats, seafood, simple and flavoursome dishes and authentic pasta.
In its 29th year of operation Andiamo has received a number of awards, most recently Best Overall Wine List at the 2009 Metro Audi Restaurant of the Year Awards and a finalist in the Best Local Bistro category at the same Awards.
We were proud to be announced as the Winner of the Laurent Perrier Outstanding Wine List Award from the Lewisham Awards 2008 as well as a recipient of an Award of Excellence by the prestigious New York wine magazine, Wine Spectator - one of only a handful of restaurants in New Zealand to have achieved such an award.
Andiamo is an Italian phrase meaning “Lets Go” and with its two rooms it spills out onto the Jervois Road pavement terrace through wide bi-fold doors. Inside at night there’s an enveloping intimacy, with low lighting, flickering candles and good music.
Andiamo has a New York style long bar that is both intimate and lively offering a wide range of cocktails, international and local craft beer and long drinks.
